Product Function
Heavy Duty Strain Pole Bands are steel clamping assemblies designed to secure specified attachments to utility poles. Their suitability depends on the band geometry, fastening arrangement, attachment configuration, and engineering requirements of the intended installation.
Target Buyers
Utility hardware distributors, electrical equipment importers, wholesale suppliers, power distribution contractors, and engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) companies sourcing pole-line hardware for infrastructure projects.
Typical Applications
Overhead power distribution infrastructure, specified pole-mounted attachment systems, and replacement hardware for existing installations where dimensional and mechanical compatibility has been verified.
Key Selection Factors
Pole material and outside diameter, band width and thickness, hole spacing, bolt configuration, attachment geometry, design loads, and installation clearances.
Note: Application suitability and load capacity must be confirmed against the approved engineering drawings and applicable project requirements.
Technical Specifications & Customization
Pole band assemblies can be specified according to approved drawings, project specifications, or verified reference samples.

Materials & Manufacturing
Steel grade and material requirements are confirmed against the approved drawing and purchase specification. Material test certificates can be requested where available and agreed for the order.
Cutting, forming, punching, or drilling processes are selected according to the component design and required dimensions. Final tolerances must be defined by the drawing or agreed inspection specification.
Where required, mating components and fastener engagement are checked against the approved assembly configuration before final finishing or dispatch.
Quality Control & Corrosion Protection
Inspection Requirements
Inspection criteria should be agreed before production and may include:
• Dimensional verification of band geometry and hole positions.
• Visual inspection for manufacturing defects and surface condition.
• Verification of material grade and fastener specifications against order documents.
• Coating inspection according to the specified galvanizing standard and acceptance criteria.
Galvanizing Standards
The applicable standard must be selected according to the component type and project specification. ASTM A123/A123M may apply to qualifying fabricated steel products, ASTM A153/A153M to qualifying iron and steel hardware, and ISO 1461 to applicable hot-dip galvanized coatings on fabricated iron and steel articles.
These standards are not interchangeable by default. The appropriate standard, coating requirements, and inspection criteria must be confirmed for the actual assembly and its individual components.
Quality Documentation
Material certificates, dimensional inspection reports, coating inspection records, and first-article inspection documentation can be specified in the purchase order, subject to availability and agreement before production.
Packaging & International Shipping
Export Packaging
Packaging can be specified according to component size, weight, surface finish, and transport requirements. Options may include secured pallets, suitable export crates, and protective separation between components.
Identification & Shipment Preparation
Part numbers, order references, and package labels can be specified to support receiving, inventory control, and project-site distribution.
Delivery Terms
FOB, CIF, DAP, or DDP may be considered where applicable to the destination, shipment arrangement, and agreed allocation of costs and responsibilities. Final terms should be confirmed in the quotation.
